My name is Felipe Trevino (he/him), and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have been providing therapy since 2016, gaining valuable experience in various settings, including transitional housing, correctional facilities, and home-based environments. My focus has been on supporting individuals facing a wide range of mental health and substance use challenges, with a specialization in treating anxiety, depression, and substance use-related issues.
Furthermore, I possess extensive expertise in working with and educating fellow practitioners on LGBTQIA+ community-specific care. My therapeutic approach centers around Cognitive-Behavioral methods, where I incorporate motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and solutions-focused brief therapy (SFBT) during sessions.
I firmly believe in the client’s expertise in their own life and well-being. Therefore, I tailor the therapy experience to meet the unique needs and strengths of each individual.
