My name is Jacqueline Rake. I am a limited licensed social worker and graduated with my degree from Grand Valley State University in 2019. My experiences lie in providing therapy to children and families within a school, home, and office based setting. I have found genuine passion in working with young children and families as they navigate through transitional spaces within their life. I specialize in working through anxiety, behavioral issues, depression, and trauma. During sessions, I enjoy maintaining a strengths-based approach, while implementing Play and Sand therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques. I believe in providing a safe, genuine space that promotes person-centered growth, understanding, and the collaborative exploration of emotions and experiences within therapy sessions.
